OUR STORY

How it started...

Hope Valley launched in 2019 with the dream of becoming "a church that looks like Heaven" by being a Christ-Centered, Spirit-Empowered and socially responsible people. A church that looks like heaven loves God passionately, cares for the church faithfully, and loves the city intentionally.

Many of our founding members moved here from Grace Covenant Church in Northern Virginia where Pastor David and his family were leading, while others joined up from sister churches in Texas and Rhode Island.
Our first meetings were in the Hermes house in August 2019. The College ministry started at the same time on the Auraria campus downtown. We started just in time to get shut down by the COVID lockdowns of 2020, and came through on the other side more convinced that God wants to do amazing things in Denver, CO and beyond.

How it's going...

After bouncing around downtown (finding spaces is tough!), we found a home in the RiNo neighborhood. We meet on Sundays  at INDUSTRY RiNo, where we are working to love God, love people and serve our neighborhood with socially responsible initiatives and creating a safe place to know, trust and follow Jesus.

We would love for you to join us and pursue the vibrant and fulfilling life of faith that Jesus created us for.  We do this through Sunday morning gatherings, small groups during the week, serving together, and encountering Jesus through the practice of spiritual disciplines.

Where we're headed...

We believe that "disciples make disciples" and that churches should plant churches. We would love to establish college ministries and local churches near every major university in Colorado and reach into other mountain region states.  We're not in a hurry... there's plenty to do in our city.
